Our Story
During the pandemic, all hair salons and barber shops were shut down because they were considered “non-essential”. It was during this crisis that everyone realized how vital self-maintenance truly is.
The name itself was created over lunch between Alex Vivar and fellow creative, Alexander Perez. The two were throwing different names at each other until Alexander said the word “Vital”, and the title stuck.

Creating the Vīdl Logo
Like with any brand, the Vīdl logo started as a vision. After hours of brainstorming and sketching, a conceptual masterpiece was created.
The “V” logo has a woven design that is symbolic to the goal of Vīdl, which is to bring the community together and to support one another. You’ll also notice a geometric shape that’s similar to the four basic elements, which are vital to the world.
